Emergency Health Centre employs only the most experienced emergency health professionals. All of our physicians, nurses, and staff members boast proven records of excellence, and are all passionate about providing unparalleled care to patients and their families. Dick McNairy - Interim CEO

Having worked with companies such as Eastman Kodak, Continental Can, Schlumberger, Halliburton, Veritas DGC and Eagle Geophysical, Richard McNairy brings forty years of senior financial management experience to Emergency Health Centre at Willowbrook.

McNairy has a diverse base of financial management expertise including turnaround and restructuring situations, new public and private equity and debt offerings, international business, acquisitions and mergers and bankruptcy and workout experience.

Recent experience in the healthcare industry compliments his work in startup and fund raising for key companies in this area.

McNairy holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana University. He completed extensive accounting course work from the University of Houston and serves on an advisory board member to the University of Houston-Downtown campus.

McNairy is a licensed CPA in the State of Texas and is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s and the Financial Executives Institute.

 
Dr. Tara Myers - Medical Director

Dr. Tara Myers brings more than 20 years of medical practice in both Internal and Emergency Medicine to her role as Medical Director for Emergency Health Centre at Willowbrook.

Dr. Myers began her career in Internal Medicine as a physician for Houston-based MacGregor Medical Association and later opened a private practice at Memorial City Hospital.

In 1995, she focused her practice entirely on Emergency Medicine while serving on the staffs at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, Park Plaza Hospital, Methodist Hospital at Sugarland and Willowbrook, Trinity Medical Center in Brenham, and EMTEL Telemedicine.

Dr. Myers is a graduate of Austin College in Sherman, Texas. She earned her medical degree and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.

She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and maintains certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Life Support as well as Advanced Trauma Life Support.

Dr. Myers is a published author and remains an active member of the Texas Disaster Medical Assistance Team. She also authors a health education column in the Cy-Fair Sun where she advises individuals on various issues in emergency care.
